Impt/Import =Important; impt is the way you would write important. when we abbreve important in an oral sentence we usj say smthg like "supes import," with emphasis on PORT. we can't spell it this way on papes bc then people will think we're talking ab imports and exports.....boring. This is also a good abbreve for when your prof is reviewing for a test and says that smthg might be on the test. You should write IMPT! right next to whatev he/she mentions.
